I called fido and they confirmed this is a scam, they gave me a phone number to call 1-+1 888-381-8076.  I will talk to them, report the numbers that have been harrassing me (416) 444-0486 and (416) 228-9119). Hopefully the calls will stop.  The fido CSR explained this happens alot andalthough Fido does not give out personal information and may have obtained my phone number, or other phone numbers from an auto dialer.

AGAIN today for the THIRD time a call from 416 XXX XXXX.  This time they decided to use a different number, but I answered, YELLING and requested to STOP CALLING ME ASAP, and to remove my name from the call list or I would report them for harrassment.

4 calls from this number in a 5 minute span - one had voices in the background - like a meeting in progress and the other three were just a strange buzzing.

They called telling that I qualify for a free handset from Fido, but once I started to ask them questins, they hung up. ?I called Fido and they said the number is not a Fido number.  So yeah, this is a SCAM!
