He offered me a free phone if I just answered some questions and hung up on me when I hassled him for proof that he was actually from my provider." quote from above.I got that exact call this afternoon.  I told him to call me another time as I was busy.  This guy tried to call 3 times later this evening!  I ignored it.  Hope it stops...

Got a call from the exact number and when I challenged him on the offer fron Telus.  He immediately rambled a very fast reply "I see u called Telus and I will call them right away to put the offer on the account" and hung up so fast he didn't even say goodbye.  Call your phone company and notify them of the calls.  I called Telus about the matter and they know the calls are coming to from Pakistan and their goal is to get your address and personal information.  In Canada, they are randomly calling numbers in Vancouver, Alberta and Ontario so don't think about changing your number.  They'll get to you sooner or later.  Hopefully a lawsuit will start but I doubt it.

I just got a call from this number. At first no response, then a man with an east indian sounding voice said "Hi i'm David, I'm lonely do you mind talking?"... I said yes i mind and hung up. creep.
