I got a call this morning, it seems like such a huge scam. The person on phone was some Steven with a weird Indian accent. He didn't know my name. And he is like you filled a coupon at some grocery store or shopping mall. And I was like, I have never filled out anything. Then he's like someone else might have. And I was like, I dont know anyone in Toronto... lol. But these guys just keep on talking.... and they sound so unconvincing and so stupid. "Sir, you need to come to Mississauga with your girlfriend or wife to pick it up". Man, these people should be reported. I am pretty sure atleast 1 of 10 people they call might fall into their trap.

same here, this guy Cris from GEO said that i filled a ballot paper.I denied, then he said maybe someone else did on my behalf. Gureenteed 1 ot of 5 grand prizes, just for promotions of company. conditions apply- One should be citizen, annual income more than 50,000, (dating, common-law or married), no children no guests allowed. As it is a couples giveaway i refused to go saying that my husband is out of country, he was pretty flexible to change my marital status to convince me come to the location at Burlington. He didn't know my name and my location. Then i visited this page & came to know that it's a scam. What i am wondering is did anyone when to the location. if yes then what happened......??????

very suspicious. "ronnie" said i had won a prize - either a Ford Explorer (or $25,000), a television, or a 2-day vacation. said i had to go to 51 International Boulevard to claim the prize, but that it was a "couples giveaway" and a "celebration" so i couldn't claim it if my wife was not there. says he works for "GEO" and that they are a promotional company that does work for "local car dealerships," Ramada Resorts," and "RCA," among other things. Also: Ramada Resorts has never heard of them.
Take caution.

The last two people - ya sure it's not a scam. Looks like the scammers found this site and are now posting here.
I have two cell phones on my account and received calls on each of them. I don't know how they got my numbers! Same spiel - some indian guy (I'm indian too lol!) with terrible english said I filled out a ballot at No Frill's/Price Chopper/Food Basics at Christmas time. Said garbage as above about prizes. But he said to meet them at: 216 Chrislea Road Suite 202 Woodbridge L4L 8S5 He tried to ask me my marital status and I asked if he had a website. He said www.vacationstore.ca Then he put me through to his supervisor, another indian fellow who said he was the senior manager. "Ray" said something about a vacation company was giving away vacations as part of a promotion but the line was sooo bad I could barely make him out. I told him I would call them back after I checked them out and he gave me the name "Ray" (905) 695-9040. The website asks for a chinese text utility installer but I clicked no, and then saw the site. Looks like a timeshare thing or something. The whole thing stinks from the beginning. I guess for the 1% of people that show up, they are scamming enough profit out of them to keep this going..
