If it is the York Police for the circus tickets I have asked them before not to call. One would think the police would obey that so suspect as above that it is not really the police.

I was getting calls from this number pretty much everyday so I answered and the guy from Police department was collecting donation for Foster homes or something like that..

They said they were from York Region Police Department but I didn't trust it. The guy was way too enthusiastic, trying to suck up to me, and wanted information about my address and name. Maybe it's fine but it seemed weird to me so I told him no and he did not even try and persuade me anymore.
