I don't pay my own bills, I'm a student, but these people call me, 4-8 times a day, at 1st I just thought it was another scam, but they call with just proficiency that i began to grow suspicious. The other day i received a call from what I believed was them in person, asked to be speak to me (by only mentioning 1st names) and began to tell me how I was in "trouble". As it turned out they were trying to reach a completely different person, from a completely different city, but just so happens to have the same common 1st name I do, with the same f***ing area code. I told them they were calling the wrong person, I was asked to verify this, and i thought that was the end. Long story short they still keep harassing me with those f***ing calls.

We got a call from this number and when my husband picked up, an automated voice said they were looking for "xxxx xxxx" (my husband's name). He then got a person on the other end who immediately  asked him for his birthdate and postal code. He said, you have my name, you tell me. She said we have to hear it from you. He asked who was calling, she just said "Global", so he badgered them for more info but would not give them info. No reason for us to have creditors calling so don't know what their game is.

I am getting calls from this number (905) 948-3203) every day and night, how to stop them calling.
They do not talk just say important business matter and put on hold.

They have been calling for two weeks (3X a day)with a recorded message to press 1.  I refuse and they just keep calling.  They are looking for Gordon.  I don't know a Gordon.  Finally a Miss Crawford called and my wife got a hold of her.  We will see what happens next.  Good luck Gordon. i'm using fido (which is related to rogers, like how koodo is related to telus and solo is to bell). mine calls with the same automated message every time that starts off with, "need to help you get this result. an agent is waiting to assist you with this important matter press "1" now." with no mention of who they are. and i since i had extra minutes and was curious i went on and pressed '1'. and then it just told me to wait and wait and wait, and then in the end says that their agents are busy and gives me some crappy excuse. i think it's the phone company just trying to waste my minutes
