To stop receiving phone calls you have to mail in a letter ( registered mail) to tell them to stop calling you at the home number. Every month you must do this. If they call you at work, it takes one time only for you to tell them to stop calling you at work. You can make a complaint if they should call you again. Legally, they can call you 3x a day. Can't call on Stat Holidays. Every province has a time they start from and finish at. They can't impersonate anyone, they can't speak to anyone but the debtor, they must identify themselves and where they're calling from. I used to work at NCO Financial doing collections for Telus Mobility and Rogers. In all reality guys, there is a cancellation policy regardless of whether you like it or not..its a contractual agreement and its unfortunate that no sales people tell you about that part of the contract. I don't work there anymore obviously because I found it to aggressive. I was one of the nice people that would actually work with you rather than fight with you...Read up on your collection laws in your province and find out what your rights are. (And maybe review the contract you signed as well) The CSR should do a financial statement with you to see what you can work out. Their first demand is always payment in full but did you know you can ask for a settlement amount? that would have to be paid in full. Did you know that if you send them $20.00 a month and make your postdated payments via your bank and provide them with the reference numbers, they'll stop calling. They can't refuse a payment so don't screw up and miss one lolGood luck....just a few helpful hints...

I was at school, and I get a call from this number... I obviously hung up, and few minutes later, this number calls me again. I hung up, and it repeated itself.So I went to washroom, called back, and was told to wait in line. When an agent picked up, he simply went "Can I talk to John?" and I was like "Who's that, and you called me". The reply? that guy just hung up.I called back, and now they don't even pick up, saying "the agents are busy"... hello? this thing's costing ME long-d fees... it cost me at least 5 dollarsI didn't bother calling again, but this stupid company called me at least 10 times more... I was in class trying to listen to my teacher, but I was so irritated by this calling... If they call me again tomorrow, I will seriously fill out a complaint. I hope I can sue them for calling wrong number for over 10 times!

These people call fr 9am -9pm at least 6x a day fr dff numbers but i have checked the numbers and yes it is rogers and was paid, but continue to call,.I just let it go to the answering machine They certainly are a pain in the rear Thers has to be a way to stop this

They call several time each day, knowing full well that I don't owe any money. ?I have spoken to them and advised them to stop.  This is a total abuse of the telephone system.

They call once or twice a day. They want to speak to someone that doesn't exist, never has at this number, ?which we've had for over 15 years. They were told no one here by that name but they keep calling. I wonder what their scam is? Harassment is a criminal offense. If it keeps up we'll see about pressing charges.

i have been getting the exact same calls for a LORI. I called twice and they actually laughed on the phone because i stated i want to have my number taken off immediately...i told her she was being rude and she accused me of the same thing...completely unprofessional..disgusted with this company...if they can even call themselves a "company"
