I'm an international student and obviously have no debts, except for my phone bill thats due.

I don't know why they are calling me and how they got my #.

very annoying.  I just ignore the calls

These people call fr 9am -9pm at least 6x a day fr dff numbers but i have checked the numbers and yes it is rogers and was paid, but continue to call,.I just let it go to the answering machine They certainly are a pain in the rear Thers has to be a way to stop this

They have been calling for two weeks (3X a day)with a recorded message to press 1.  I refuse and they just keep calling.  They are looking for Gordon.  I don't know a Gordon.  Finally a Miss Crawford called and my wife got a hold of her.  We will see what happens next.  Good luck Gordon. It is illegal for these debt collectors to call you repeatedly after you have told them that you are not the person they are looking for.

This is regulated by the Ministry of Consumer Services.

I was having problems with a debt collector calling me for a relative's debt and they told me that they would keep bugging me until he called them. The collection company told me last night that there was no possible way to delete the number.  

I simply called the Ministry and the agent called the collection company with me still on the line in a conference call.  They were instructed to remove my phone number and the person said she did.  I am to call back if I receive another call.

I keep getting a Miss Crawford who leaves messages and then a nasty loud-mouth guy who leaves a message with no names etc., of who he is looking for...annoying to say the least.
