Called 3 times at 5 am saying that there was an unauthorized charge on my credit card. When I would hang up, he would call back 20 minutes later

5:29 a.m. today! I didn't answer. Same # last week was after 11 p.m.

Same thing happened this am at 10:50 after refusing to give number they hung up

[***] called home while I was away and convinced my mother to give them banking information after they told her that her that they were from her bank and that her card was used fraudulently on eBay. Sad that she believed them and gave them her banking information, but on her way to the bank to take out the money they also asked for, she listened to her suspicions and asked the teller about it (something that they told her not to do... RED FLAG!).  The teller explained it was a scam, and helped her change all her account information.  Pisses me off that scammers prey on people like this, and it's the most vulnerable people in our society that pay the price!

Just had this number call a landline number at my company at 8:30am. Lots of noise in the background like calling from a train/subway platform. Caller hung up after I rattled of corporate greeting.

Yep...0600 (worked late and didn't appreciate the call...) same thing. After the spiel and trying to convince me to give information, and that the call was being recorded, I told him I had to use the bathroom. I called TD from my cell and cancelled my card after telling them what was happening. Went back to the phone told the guy (heavy Pakistani accent, but also very polite and professional) to go away as I just cancelled the card.  He was not happy I kept him on hold for 5-6 min!! These scam artists should be tarred and feathered and hung by their toes in the village square!!!

The exact same thing just happened o me at 7:30 this morning.He said a $300 charge had been made to my account at 4 this morning.  He asked if I had the card, I said yes its in my wallet.  He asked me to get the card and tell me the number.  I refused.  He said "Why won't you give me the number?"  I said "Why won't you give me your credit card number?!"   This went on for a minute or 2.  Then he said "You want my credit card number?  Get a pen, write this down."  What an [***]!  Clearly this was not a professional business call.  I hung up.
