had a call from this number as well, they were just looking for someone that left me as a reference they were actually quite polite

Probably the rudest collections person I have ever talked to. She asked about this credit card I had, and I said yeah that was over 4 years ago. And I said that I couldn't pay it all right now. She says so how do you pay your mortgage? (none of her business!!!) I say I don't have a mortgage. She says how do you pay rent? I say I have subsidies that help me pay my rent. I tell her how I was on welfare when I got that card 4 years ago. She goes on to tell me I had no business applying for a card, why did I do that? I say, I was offered 10% off my purchase if I fill out the credit card application and I didn't even think I would qualify for a credit card being on welfare. She said I should never have used the card then. Any ways this went back and forth for a bit, I was getting pretty irate. She was more worried about what I did in the past that she never even got to try to get a payment out of me. I hung up on her as she was saying, I should've acted like a grown up. By that time I just going to ask her how I could make a payment to try to get rid of this debt, but I was so angry I hung up on her! It was probably a scam anyways, she had no information except for a credit card I had 4 years ago. I've been scammed before and transferred about 75 dollars to pay off a delinquent payment, but it never got to the actual company.

you guys all have one thing in common clearly you all DONT pay your bills, have you ever thought of answering the phone and rectifieing oh and if yoiu dont want to pay the bill you think it bothers us as much as it seems to bother you, it affects YOUR credit , we get nothing out of it!!!pay your bills hommieeeesss

Reality, You both are right. They are twits for feeding on the weak. But you have to better yourself. Sometimes not by leaps and bounds but by baby steps. "The borrower is slave to the lender," Reap better from what you sow. Knowledge is your power. I advise you to check out a guy called Dave Ramsey. He has an awesome plan for getting out of debt you do yourself. Be strong.P.S. I found this board simply by typing the area code. Not from contact from the company. they call and ask for someone who doesn't exst, and then repeatedly call again and again.........  I like knowing that we can ask that they only contact me by mail... i might try that one and give my new address as my local MP's    then maybe it'll stop.I think we should have a call back day where everyone that gets a call from them calls at the same time and fill up there mesage centre and phone lines.......  and just talk and talk and talk, and keep doing it all day, until they understand what it feels like.........

I just got a call from (905) 831-7383 and this lady called me at my workplace.  I already went through my bankruptcy payment and paid it off.  I knew it's from the collection agency because of their rudeness.  If there is one kind of people to be exterminated from the face of this earth it is the collection people.
