i received a check from zurich financial securities inc with a check written from jpmorgan chase bank, n.a. syracuse, ny. the attached letter stated to call the number above before cashing. also indicated that a portion of the check was to be sent to a "tax agent". final instructions was to tell no one about the winnings.

This phone number is listed on a letter along with a fraudulent check.  If you receive one of these letters claiming that you a lottery winner, please report it to the police or FBI.  Any check from ATTO Technology in the amount of $4,875 is FRAUDULENT - DO NOT TRY TO CASH IT!!!
