Scammers, called to try and get me to switch long distance carriers...not buying their bull-crap.Ignored them.

Best defence against such scum (oops - sorry: scams; it's just that reading the names of those "owners"...) is 1. caller ID; and 2. answering machine with number announcing, on 24/7.  We very rarely get calls from this number (or practically any other unwanted source) anymore!  Today I happened to pick up (as we do on the rare occasions that one of us is out): there was a female, with an ugly foreign accent, muttering something about "international long distance", then she hung up.
