Trting to sell security.

This number has called my house 6 to 7 times a day in the last 2 weeks, never leaving a message. My husband answered last night and he said he was calling from my alarm company and was calling to offer me an upgrade because our system was outdated, cameras etc blah blah for cheap. Hubby told him he would have to talk to me about that stuff. Today I called my company, no such offer on my file. So when he called tonight I answered, I let him explain his deal to me, and just as he got to the time frame to book I asked him what company he was calling from, so hubby would let them in when they came by and he said Secure Tech. AH, thanks but no thanks Buddy! HE WAS PISSED!!!!! LMAO!!!

Another reason why business numbers and users need to be registered in some sense, so that theis kind of alleged spoofing can be stopped, traced, and eradicated at the source.  Do we not have the technology?  Of course we do.  Do we have the balls?  Apparently not.  Sorry for you, but registration adn regulation must become a "cost of doing business", so that you can restore your credibility, and prove you are following common sense rules, or you pay the consequences.

Called saying it was alarm monitoring and we already had system  as he asks right? Hung up but sure makes ya wonder   Isn't this great. Caller Id and if you say no alarm they call later and you aren't home then it's open door to them.  They have your address they know no alarm maybe they can park out front and call from a blocked cell phone to see if anyone answers.  We should just put our valuables on the curb and let them have it I guess.  Who can we report this crap to?
