I received a "Texas Hold'em" scratch card in my mailbox. I of course scratched a winning hand (full house...5's over king's, just like the example on the back of the card). Contest rules said I had to "qaulify for, and agree to, a homecare product presentation (no purchase required)". From my Google searches I believe it's a reverse osmosis product. Don't know why they wouldn't deal with students...their money is just as good as anyone else's. I didn't call to claim the prize I "may have won", according to the How To Play instructions, as I know it's all just a marketing strategy. Although this shouldn't need to be said, it seems that it does...NO ONE GIVES FREE SCRATCH CARDS WITH OVER $15,000 IN PRIZES, WITH NO STRINGS ATTACHED!

I got 2 of those stupid things in the mail. Read the back of the card and figured it was a waste of my time.

Called, they set up an appointment and then refused to bring the prize when my wife wasn't home to sit through the sales pitch.

I received a "Triple Bingo" scratch card in the mail and on the back of the card, it says "If you match one of the "Winning" Bingo Combinations as shown above, please call the Contest Hotline immediately" with the following number "(905) 688-9679". We had won on one of the Winning Bingo Combinations and called the hotline to claim our prize. When we called a female answered and asked if we were students, which we are. She then replied that students are not eligible to win. We read the contest rules at the bottom, where it said nothing about needing to be a home owner or that it doesn't apply to students. We called back, I was put on hold for two minutes, and when the lady answered again she was extremely rude, did not let me finish my question, interrupted, told me students didn't apply, and when I tried to ask her why it was put in a mailbox of a building full of students she told me it only applies to home owners and HUNG UP ON ME.
