Number called me. Missed the call. Tried to call back and went straight to a disconnection.

The caller said they were from McMaster Sick Kids Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario (although it's not a Hamilton-based number).  They were asking for donations.

left no message on machine and I called back and received a dial tone like you were just stating to make a call all over again.
