I had a call from this number from a man with a very strong accent.  He told me he was from Windows Support and told me to log on to my computer so that we could delete viruses they had supposedly detected.  I told him to call back and he was insistent we do it right away.  Of course I didn't agree adn he never called back - what a scam!

ALLSTREAM CORP. is the carrier. It is a Hamilton, Ontario Canada telephone exchange. I received the call from a woman with a foreign accent who was in some place where they were making annoncements over a PA system in the background. She asked for some one using the name of a specific person who would be at the location she called.

I have an idea for your prank. Rig your house up to appear like it's haunted. Get some friends to help you. When the guy comes in, warn him that your house is haunted but don't be too afraid, the entity might not hurt you. Then the fun begins!!!

I too had a delay when first picked up and then was told my computer is sending warnings to them. I told him to call back and leave his details on the answering service and he quickly hung up. He sounded East Indian.
