Same stuff as above.
Boiler room call - you can hear the background conversations.
Guy wanted to stick to his scrip and would not give me "the offer" when I asked for it - I have no time ot waste on telemarketing sales processes. Caller said he was calling from Bell Canada, and when challenged as to why he was asking me if I had a Bell phone if he was calling from Bell (they would know, right?), he told me that he merely "represented" Bell. Hung up on me soon afterwards.
Bell itself was not very sympathetic when I called right afterwards. Rep said all Bell employees would be able to provide an employee number and gave me the formats (what would stop someone from rattling off some random numbrs as the employee number to further con me?). Asides from that, they would not look at my phone mumber and determine which number called me (*I* had to do *69 afterwards to get it - not cool Bell), so I cannot feel like Bell is really worried about someone calling their clients and pretending to be them for some nasty purpose....
You are on your own! Good luck!
BTW, another site had someone do the research and show that they called from some place in Pakistan even though they insist it was from Windor. Part of the script / scam. I plan to have some fun next time they call and ask them an "impossible" questions about Windor (how about their recent outbreak of Dutch Puck Disease?) ... just to see what kind of answers I can get out of them before I hang up on them... :-)

MARCH 5TH, 2010.......this number called me at 9:30 p.m. EST...and said nothing...just a computer voice saying goodbye after about 10 seconds of silence. I swear if I found out who this was, or where they were, I would walk in there office and physically assault the crap out of the first jack-a** I see. I'm getting off bell in the next week, hopefully this harassment ends

I just got a call from (905) 581-0086 Caller ID: V0306130612000Nobody said anything. I called back and it says "Number not in service"I am starting to get really frustrated with the amount of unsolicited phone calls we get. If I didnt need my home phone for my alarm system, I would cancel it completely. We get 4 to 5 calls a day from all sorts of weirdos. I've had it!

I think the CRTC does not care..or they are responsible for this scam...it is now a month since this number was reported...and I can see by the posting dates...at least 6 months this number has been harrassing people...they are still making calls...you decide why nothing is being done.
