I didn't answer and refused to give them info, next thing i know i am in collections.  I didn' think i had direct energy, never even heard of them. till the showed me contract and phone recording, i remember sigingin now, 5 years ago at the door, thats what i get for signing s*** at the door.I moved so they were calling to update my info, but i didn't answer they called for a month then 2 weeks later I was in collections, I thought it was direct energy scam people pretending to be collections till I went to court because I wasn't paying them the cancleation fee, then i started to listen.

This number is from Direct Energy having to do with your hydro. I called the number to see.

katherine if you do not answer they wil send you to collections, they are direct energy calling about your gas or electricity contract with them, they arn't telemarketers.

This number keeps calling - I just don't pick up the phone anymore unless I recognize the number. I hate what these companies have resorted us to. Home telephones are suppose to be for leisure and emergencies, not misused for advertising. Very frustrating.
