Got a call from this number at 10:00 a.m. on a Holiday Monday morning. It's bad enough getting calls from these people during the normal week, and into the later evening hours now. I'm not against charities and I give well to my list. People phoning me early on a holiday morning are not going to get a dime, and do themselves the reverse in a lot of cases.

Call received asking to speak to the wife, told him she no longer lives here, requested he remove the number from their system as i no longer have anything to do with my wife....will see what happens???

Calls quite often.  Answered twice. Asked for me by name. Then hung up.Very annoying!!!

Caller said I'm Looking for (first name). I said that would be me, who's talking and they hung up.

Just spoke with the person. Turns out it's for the Police of Ontario Retiree's Association, or at least that's what they told me. I have heard others with different charities. I spoke with a friend that is a retired policeman and he said there is no such endeavor. That this is a scam
