Got a call from this number but oddly not what others have put. This young girl who sounded drunk left a message and said that the person "better stop calling or she will send her dad to kick my [***]". Doesn't relate to me or anyone in the household.

Got a call, the speaker asked to speak to me and he mentioned my name when I confirmed it is me, he hanged up, tried to call back the number I only get a voice mail prompt.

Just spoke with the person. Turns out it's for the Police of Ontario Retiree's Association, or at least that's what they told me. I have heard others with different charities. I spoke with a friend that is a retired policeman and he said there is no such endeavor. That this is a scam

The scamer are from over sea ( AFGHAN and ISIS ) thay wont your ( MONEY ) So if you get a call say this to them ( CITY POLICE ) if yor from a city.And if your from a small town say this ( O.P.P. ). Or the ( R.C.M.P. ).But dont say you are a ( COP ). That will ( STOP ) them from calling you.

Someone called on our home number today at 10.24 AM.Asked for me by name, then said I needed to honour my obligations as I owed $50 to the cancer society. He mentioned an invoice, I asked to get the invoice, he said it couldn't be done.Wanted my Visa/Master card number with the 3 diit security code.I asked for the invoice again, he said perhaps it was my wife. I asked my wife while he was on the phone and she didn't recall making any commitments. He then said he would check his records and he hung up!Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck,,, scam!
