Got a call from this number at 10:00 a.m. on a Holiday Monday morning. It's bad enough getting calls from these people during the normal week, and into the later evening hours now. I'm not against charities and I give well to my list. People phoning me early on a holiday morning are not going to get a dime, and do themselves the reverse in a lot of cases.

This was Bell Canada calling disgruntled former customers of theirs. When Bell subscribers leave, Bell gets upset and has quack callers harassing you.

Just spoke with the person. Turns out it's for the Police of Ontario Retiree's Association, or at least that's what they told me. I have heard others with different charities. I spoke with a friend that is a retired policeman and he said there is no such endeavor. That this is a scam

called on my home phone and hung up. When i tried to call back i just heard someone laughing. I don't have time for these prank calls so please removed immediately as requested.

They claim to be calling to raise funds for underpiveledged children and to raise funds to take these kids to some [***] charity game between old timer hockey players and police.  [***].  I donated and they keep calling to advise that my payment didn't clear when I know it did.  DON'T DONATE!!!
