There is no reason for Norton to be contacting me. If I do not see an ID on the phone ...it goes directly to the answering machine. If they speak, then I may call them back. If not, to heck with the telemarketer. They just hate talking to the machine. That is how I deal with them.

Get a call from these people every day. Want me to turn on my computer so they can fix my problems.

Called about my computer running windows OS and had an infection. Said he worked for a new company that was investigating my computer sending spam.

Calling me every business day says they are from reward/redemption center and said they were calling to give me a free gift and enter me in a draw because I was making frequent payments. Never paid anything to them and told them to stop calling or I would charge them for harrassment

Try a free telemarketer blocking software. Get time and date.When they called. . Call police, or use online Rcmp or FBI reporting. If they try to scam you. Or just harass you.

They've been calling me for a few weeks and everytime I pick up, no one talks. Finally today a woman spoke and told me she was calling bc I am an active credit and debit user and she wanted to offer me a "rewards program" for stores like Walmart, Futureshop etc. another thing that was off was that she called me by my first and last name but my phone is under my moms name....just really weird.

Called last night, 5:47 pm EST, man with "Indian" accent saying that he was calling about my "Windows operating system". Difficult to understand, of course realized it was the "scam" that has been widely reported, and also said that I had a Mac. He continued, and I asked if he would stay on line while I did a conference call to RCMP anti-fraud line. I actually just hung up the phone, but the man (Kevin Watson) CALLED ME BACK @ 5:51 pm, and began to yell because I'd "falsely" accused him of fraud.Long story short, my son 'confirmed' with me that he could definitely hear me at the RCMP phone line, and when my son interrupted Mr. Watson, Mr. Watson tried to explain loudly that he did not say he was from Microsoft, condemned me for accusing him of fraud ..... phone call ended shortly thereafter with the man telling me to "go f*** yourself".Yes, he actually said that

Calling that many times in a day is illegal. It's also against the regulations for a collection agency under Ontario law.

If you tell them "Contact by mail only." then they are not allowed to call you again.  If they do you can file a complaint with the CRTC and it will help get them shut down.

called me and screamed at me until i hung up... wouldn't tell me who he was or what he wanted, but said he'd be calling back

She called, I picked up because it looked like a number that I thought I might know, I said "hello" 3 times until she finally said "goodbye." Without another word, really freaks me out because they have never called and on the one day that I am home alone sick they call.

a man claiming to be from an information site, stated our company listed our information on the site and now that the year is up, we owe $500.00. I have had calls from this type of scam before, we have not listed our information on any web page except our own. don't fall for this, and never answer yes to any question they ask, they record it and make it look like you said yes to a different question. just hang up
