There is no reason for Norton to be contacting me. If I do not see an ID on the phone ...it goes directly to the answering machine. If they speak, then I may call them back. If not, to heck with the telemarketer. They just hate talking to the machine. That is how I deal with them.

Get a call from these people every day. Want me to turn on my computer so they can fix my problems.

Called about my computer running windows OS and had an infection. Said he worked for a new company that was investigating my computer sending spam.

Calling me every business day says they are from reward/redemption center and said they were calling to give me a free gift and enter me in a draw because I was making frequent payments. Never paid anything to them and told them to stop calling or I would charge them for harrassment

Try a free telemarketer blocking software. Get time and date.When they called. . Call police, or use online Rcmp or FBI reporting. If they try to scam you. Or just harass you.

Calling about my computer needing looked at.

Same thing happened to me twice from this number. I asked which "major credit card " to verify and he couldn't tell me and said it was a redemption centre in Montreal. They offered two airplane vouchers and 100$ gas card but yet I needed to pay for the shipping of materials for the savings program. I told him I'm not interested and he started laughing. ..... I am seriously thinking of reporting them. Is it the RCMP? Or OPP ( I'm in Ontario) , or who do I contact?

Calling that many times in a day is illegal. It's also against the regulations for a collection agency under Ontario law.

If you tell them "Contact by mail only." then they are not allowed to call you again.  If they do you can file a complaint with the CRTC and it will help get them shut down.

This number called my home at 10:30pm. I told them this better be good calling me at this time of night. They said they are calling for Ontario farmer in the area. I said at 10:30 at night and I hung up on her.

called me and screamed at me until i hung up... wouldn't tell me who he was or what he wanted, but said he'd be calling back
