I have received calls from different telephone numbers which all relate to Global Credit Collection Agency.  Finally called 1-(905) 413-8568 (Markham office) and spoke with Ms. Daly.  She said that they were trying to get in touch with xxx.  Told her that that person was not at the number they were calling.  She said that she would put "wrong number" beside the number they were calling and that would stop any further calls.  So, you may wish to call them too.

Similiar to the Miss Crawford message.  Mine says something to the effect of "Due to Federal and Provincial Regulations, I am unable to provide any information.  To discuss the matter, press 1 or call +1 877-342-3271 Ext. 1342 and a qualified representative will assist you further.  They don't say who they are, what they are calling about or even ask for anyone by name.  This alone makes me very suspicious.

A message starts and they ask me to push a button about the matter...but I don't push the button because they are acting lame...government should make this illegal and levy fines for these type of calls and there will be no need for taxes then.
