I just received a call from this number this afternoon, I had talked to them about an hour ago and provided them some information regarding my application.Yes, it is American Express.

American Express.  Why it hangs up I have no idea, as they acctually had a legit reason to contact me.  Let them leave a message, then call them back at 1800 #.

This must be Amex. Their main # is (905) 474-9380, & I called with an inquiry about online statements ealier today.  Customer service was not helpful.  A few hours later I received calls from this # on both my office & cell phone, within 1 minute of each call, though I had called from my office.  They have my cell # as well; so it must be Amex; yet they left no message, so it must be a tele-marketing call.
