Thanks to Everyone for your comments. I was able to convince a couple of elderly people the phone number leads to a Telemarketing water heater scam.

Call the house and then hang up when I pick up or get dead air.

This number keeps calling and calling. I just tried to call it back, was advised that customer service was busy and to please hold, held for about a minute and was provided with a voicemail to leave a message as they are unavailable. This is extremely annoying. Wondering who they can be reported to.

I had the exact same experience!
They also told me my gas usage was much higher last year and they are calling to help me save money. I have also had them come to my door a couple of times, the first time I fell for it and signed the contract but was able to cancel it within the first 10 days.

I went online to see what this company is all about and if this was true or a scam.

no call me never

This company has been calling my house several times a day for the past few days. I finally answered the phone and the man on the other end said he was calling from Just Energy.He claimed that his company supplied the gas to my house and I told him that I was with Direct Energy. He then said that Just Energy was the gas supplier for Direct Energy and that a lot of people had the same misconception about who was their gas supplier (I became very suspicious at this point).He told me that my gas usage last year was higher than in previous years and that Just Energy could help me save money with a free offer. He asked me how old my water heater was. I told him it was a rental. Again, he asked how old it was and I told him I didn't know, but that it was replaced fairly recently. He tried to offer me a free upgrade of my water heater. I had to decline several times before he hung up.

I confirm that they are using an illegal automatic dialing machine because they call me about 12 times in a period of 20 minutes and they do it every day.  No human would be dumb enough to do it.

It is useless to block individual phone numbers because scammers change or spoof their numbers regularly.  I have the Call Blocker 10 (see link below) which allows me to block entire area codes and my phone doesn't even ring.  You can do yourself a favour and purchase one.  You should spread the word, and then it's the end of telemarketing scammers !  :-)

This number just called me stating that they were from some Energy company that supplies me. I stated that Power Stream is my supplier he asked me to repeat what I said. I repeated that Power Stream is my energy supplier. He promptly hung up. Kinda suspicious don't you think?????
