Automated message saying something about this being the third call regarding credit problems... There is a click and I hear a conversation between two other people talking about some numbers... Then they hang up.  I never said anything.

if you call back, and tell them your number, they put you on a no-call list. which will probably be sold back to some other idiot company but anyway it was worth a shot.

This program takes your power of attorney and doesn't pay your creditors. Any payment you agree to go straight into their pockets!!!Please stay away and report to better business bureau!!!! They are scammers

There should be a law against machine calls like this. I called telus, my carrier and they said they can't do anything about it. Great!

I then called the company, Ontario Consumer Credit Assistance (OCCA) at http://www.occa.ca/page/about_us 1-+1 866-873-6222 and asked to be removed from their calling list. I asked if they were aware of all the people angry and blogging about their calls and the nice man said no, but promised that my number was removed... we'll see.
