just got a call, man asked for my mom, said she wasnt home.. then he asked for my dad and i said "sorry, they're both at work".  he just said "ok thanks" and hung up. very strange. i called back to that number and it was an automated message about a fundraising company.

I contacted CRTC Regarding this matter and this is what they sent back."calls are subject to the Telemarketing Rules (does not apply to mail).  For your reference, here is a link to our Fact Sheet on the rules applicable to telemarketing activities. im from port colborne and this # has called on numerous occasions up until 9pm in the evening they never leave a message either, since i got net phone these solistors have been bombarding me, and i never even added my name to the do not call list because it doesnt work anyway. Once u put your name on that list and numbers to do not call that list can then be picked up by out of country parties who in turn use it as a call list and our government cannot stop it because it has no regulations beyond canada in that regards,also if u do happen to talk to someone from these odd numbers that call ( scammers , Solictors ) and ask them to put u on thier do not call list,it works but they start calling u for same thing from different numbers to get around it...how do we stop all this nonscence period im getting really tired of daily calls from all around the world from these idjits

That # just called me. I answered saying "she isn't home, may I take a message." The guy replied back it's Joe (and whatever his last name is). I said ok. He said he'll call back. Instead I called back. It's a voice mail for fund raising.

Just got a call from that number again.  My wife answered the call and said we are down to one income and can't afford to give any money right now and he said, "welcome to the rest of us".  My wife told me that and I was livid.  He called me before and he asked for $45 and I said I am broke, I can't afford to give and then he said, how about $35 then.  Unbelievable.

I am fed up with this telemarketer. I receive 3 to 4 calls daily and amessage has never been left
