Claimed to be apart of Rogers company promoting relief of covid 19. Just an answering machine. Seems super fake

I asked them to remove my phone number from their system. I don't owe any money and they are calling my personal number for someone who is not even at this number. They refuse to remove my number and keep hanging up on me when I tell them they are harasing me.

Called at about noon here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one spoke. I asked who it was and no answer.

called twice in the same day, no message just a hang up

I just got this call as well. Went to their website and wrote this message:<<Stop calling me. I don't know who you are looking for, but I do not owe anyone money: I do NOT appreciate getting calls from a collections agency. I am writing to have my number removed from your list. It is an unlisted, cell phone number. I haven't had this number very long, so my guess would be that you are looking for the former user of this phone number. If calls continue, I WILL contact the police and the better buisness bureau (BBB). Regardless, I do not answer long-distance calls from unknow numbers. After recieving two phone calls today (and others previously) I decided to do a 411 lookup only to discover that you do not list your number (how ironic). I then googled your phone number and found this site http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/(905) 413-8568/2I couldn't help but notice that fishing is a regular practice in your company. I don't know how legal that is, but I promise you that I will contact the BBB if this continues. Please have someone EMAIL me back with a follow-up to this email. I will not answer any phone-calls from you (unless you agree to pay for the phone call) As it is, I think I should be compensated for the abuse of my time and your blatant disrespect (not to mention your apparent lack of anything resembling manners)>>I suggest that other people having similar problems leave similar messages.Also, I phoned my telephone company and notified them of my problem. This way, if it continues, I have documentation that I tried to resolve this

This guy that they're trying to get a hold of got the number by driving by my place of work, my husband used to work with him, this guy is a total jerk, trying to get out of child support. I've asked them to remove my number 4 times, but they still keep calling! Stupid ignorant people.

They keep calling my workplace looking for someone who has not worked here for many years. I finally called them back and firmly told them they are calling a business number. They were very pleasent and say they have removed my number from there list!

just an fyi, by law, they can not call your cell phone, without your permission. you should remind them of that

I've been getting this message at least once (often more) a week for a few months. They won't leave me alone!

I've been receiving these calls about the same time as I got my new cell phone. I had called them back at one point 2 yrs ago as they were calling for some guy I've never heard of. They never once informed me who they were and were so extremely rude to me. I asked to be removed from their list since I don't owe money and I don't know who they are looking for. I was basically accused of "hiding" this guy from them and they were actually threatening. The man asked me the stupid question that if this wasn't the guy's phone nber, why would he give it to them. Duh! Unfortunately, they are harassing me. I kept asking to have my name/# removed from their list and he finally said that he will have it removed. That was 2 yrs ago and I still get these calls. I have since moved and changed numbers but that hasn't stopped the calls. Even though they are traced to Global collections, this should be illegal to harass innocent people. Unfortunately, in Canada, the police say that we are "allowed" to be harassed once a day = well, more than once a day they consider to be harrassement. I receive many calls from a whole bunch of different numbers which when I look into are *ALL* traced back to Global. They don't stop. And they don't remove you from their list...at least they never did with me even though they said they did as we were talking. This is just wrong. Don't answer any phone numbers you don't know on sight, is all I can say.
