Claimed to be apart of Rogers company promoting relief of covid 19. Just an answering machine. Seems super fake

I asked them to remove my phone number from their system. I don't owe any money and they are calling my personal number for someone who is not even at this number. They refuse to remove my number and keep hanging up on me when I tell them they are harasing me.

Called at about noon here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one spoke. I asked who it was and no answer.

They keep calling my workplace looking for someone who has not worked here for many years. I finally called them back and firmly told them they are calling a business number. They were very pleasent and say they have removed my number from there list!

I've had this number call me for a couple of weeks with the same message as Bob. I called them back and was often on hold for upto 15 - 20 mins before I finally got a hold of someone. They are a collection agency looking for Philip H. I told them that this number does not belong to him anymore and I do not know any Philip H. I strictly told them not to call me or I'll report them to the police. The calls ceased for a couple of months, but I'm getting them again now!! I want to call them up to give them a piece of my mind, but the problem is I can't wait on the phone for 20 mins and then have them hang up on me!!

They go to town calling deadbeats who in the past had or at least used your present phone number (as in my sons's case). Upon speaking to a female party at that number they honoured my request to remove the number but not until they asked if I had any knowledge or knew the whereabouts of Mr. Deadbeat. I provided a negative response. Female party could be heard typing rapidly and asked several personal Q's which I declined responding to. In typical 'collection fashion' they answer few Q's constantly calling upon confidentially... however she offered just enough for me to investigate &provide this information for your benefit. I just got this call as well. Went to their website and wrote this message:<<Stop calling me. I don't know who you are looking for, but I do not owe anyone money: I do NOT appreciate getting calls from a collections agency. I am writing to have my number removed from your list. It is an unlisted, cell phone number. I haven't had this number very long, so my guess would be that you are looking for the former user of this phone number. If calls continue, I WILL contact the police and the better buisness bureau (BBB). Regardless, I do not answer long-distance calls from unknow numbers. After recieving two phone calls today (and others previously) I decided to do a 411 lookup only to discover that you do not list your number (how ironic). I then googled your phone number and found this site http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/(905) 413-8568/2I couldn't help but notice that fishing is a regular practice in your company. I don't know how legal that is, but I promise you that I will contact the BBB if this continues. Please have someone EMAIL me back with a follow-up to this email. I tried calling them back and whoever decides to answer is rude and just puts me on hold and never comes back...I still don't know who I'm calling.
