Claimed to be apart of Rogers company promoting relief of covid 19. Just an answering machine. Seems super fake

I asked them to remove my phone number from their system. I don't owe any money and they are calling my personal number for someone who is not even at this number. They refuse to remove my number and keep hanging up on me when I tell them they are harasing me.

Called at about noon here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one spoke. I asked who it was and no answer.

I called them and got a very pleasent young lady. Once I maintained the conversation control, very important with collectors, I found out they were looking for a "Sheryl". Seemed to understand and admitted they were fishing.

Called 4x, not a telemarketing call, etc.

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.  They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

return the call back, don't say a word and hang up. do this a few times then your phone will ring with an unavailable number. don't answer and play the game again. they'll get the message that it pisses them off as well

I have pre paid so I pay to listen to my messages. I wish they wouldnt call me. :(
