Claimed to be apart of Rogers company promoting relief of covid 19. Just an answering machine. Seems super fake

I asked them to remove my phone number from their system. I don't owe any money and they are calling my personal number for someone who is not even at this number. They refuse to remove my number and keep hanging up on me when I tell them they are harasing me.

Called at about noon here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one spoke. I asked who it was and no answer.

called twice in the same day, no message just a hang up

well.. they called me twice in two days. i called back privately, once and the second time i spoke with a "matt". i was asked my name, after saying my name, i was told a weird name they were looking for. i said that wasnt me, and said "maybe we have the wrong number", and hung up. i think firmness is key,(if its a cell-phone number they're calling) and you'll be left alone.

Jebus. It makes me wonder, how they got my cell.....Only my family members know my cell. Next time they call. I hope I am not at work, so I can tell them off!

I received two calls from this number today, and it would just repeat "Press one for English", followed by a beep. I called to enquire and, while I had to talk to 3 different people, the first two were polite and the third one agreed to remove my number from their list without any fuss. Total time on the call was under 5 minutes.

they've been calling four to five times a day for a while now...still don't know what it's about or how to get them to stop.

I am getting the same thing as everyone else.. It has only been a couple of days, but it's driving me nuts! The first time a wierd message was left like the one BOB mentioned. Today they called 5 times, all hang-ups when it came to voicemail. Except for one that I answered and it was a recorded message telling me to phone another number.Agh.

I just got this call as well. Went to their website and wrote this message:

<<Stop calling me. I don't know who you are looking for, but I do not owe anyone money: I do NOT appreciate getting calls from a collections agency. I am writing to have my number removed from your list. It is an unlisted, cell phone number. I haven't had this number very long, so my guess would be that you are looking for the former user of this phone number. If calls continue, I WILL contact the police and the better buisness bureau (BBB). Regardless, I do not answer long-distance calls from unknow numbers. After recieving two phone calls today (and others previously) I decided to do a 411 lookup only to discover that you do not list your number (how ironic). I then googled your phone number and found this site http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/(905) 413-8568/2

I couldn't help but notice that fishing is a regular practice in your company. I don't know how legal that is, but I promise you that I will contact the BBB if this continues. Please have someone EMAIL me back with a follow-up to this email. I will not answer any phone-calls from you (unless you agree to pay for the phone call) As it is, I think I should be compensated for the abuse of my time and your blatant disrespect (not to mention your apparent lack of anything resembling manners)>>

I suggest that other people having similar problems leave similar messages.
Also, I phoned my telephone company and notified them of my problem. This way, if it continues, I have documentation that I tried to resolve this
