I thought it might be a collection agency.

It played a "The number you dialed is not in service message" twice, but very briefly right before it disconnected, there was a "I'm sorry the person.." clip that was cut off.  I can only assume that it would have ended in "at this extension is not available."

Part of my profession gives me access to an autodialer, and I rang it back at least 50 times in the next 15 minutes, all with the same result.

Whoever is making the calls has the ability to mask their CID.  It's likely a collector of some sort.  Anyways, just thought I'd post alongside everyone else.

I got a call from the same number and missed it. When I called back, it says, the no. is not in use. does anybody knows who is it and why are they doing so?

I got a call from this # from my cell, recorded announcement: your number was choosen by our system that you just win $2,500, please press 1 to claim it" ?I hang up on it, did not bother. I believe it's scan.

Recieved call 3:08pm (Newfoundland time). Did not answer
