Claims to be from Sunlife Insurance and "simply wants to update me on my policy". I don't have a policy and questioned him closer as to who he is representing. He became very abusive and reverted to very heavily (Indian) accented English

I had this A- hole come to my house after months and month telling him I don't conduct business on the phone. I answered the phone and expressed I really need my ducts clean - could they please come and clean . well he phoned 3 times to confirm ill be here and it'll be 100 dollars, he finally showed up. I've been fighting throat cancer and have a hard time speaking after operation, I'm normally a easy going guy but this guy kept pissing my pregnant wife and I off I honestly was going to give this guy a punch in the face, (knowing dam well he wouldn't phone police) the reason I didn't because if he were to grab my throat id be in big trouble just having my voice box cut out. I did how ever take his photo and got his licence plate #AD 285085 Ford white work van. I wish I could have this fella charged with harassment , he really has been an annoyance.. since he has not phoned. here's a tip- my sister got this call once and she said she was in an apartment building, they never phoned again (genius)

I too am on the no call registry but still get the stupid calls. Today was from "Ocean Duct Cleaning" (same number) ..... It took a lot to get this "probably" fake name out of him. The guy was very rude. Two things not taught at business school ! The key to a short conversation = ask for the company name and manager. This is so you can complain on the governments no call registry. If we all take a few minutes to complain MAYBE this kind of harassment will stop. Help make it difficult for criminals.

some Inidan guy caled said he was from Sun Life and his supervisor was going to be in the area and wanted to set up a meeting with us. I told him that we were not interested in meeting with anyone from Sun Life, let alone on a sunday...he started talking again, and I hung up...EFFING call centers!

First of all, these sh*tpumps called me and when I answered the phone ... no answer. I phoned them back, and got some bullsh*t recorded message that my account was "disabled" ... WTF? Then, when they finally called AGAIN ... I listened to their crap for a bit, then asked where there office was so I could visit in person (with a baseball bat, but I didn't say that out loud ...) Anyway, they hung up so fast ... I'm going to start asking this question ALL THE TIME.

two days in a row now, this number calls and says nothing....nothing better to do I guess? Get a real job looser!

I have received many calls from this number and each time I ask to be removed from their data base the person ( barely speaking english) demands i listen or starts to cackle very loudly in my ear then hangs up, only to call again. Tonight I received another call from them, i again demanded they remove me from their database, the person tells me NO. I hung up, called my telephone company and found it is a spoofed number. I ordered call block and will block Ontario (905) 352-3813 but I'm sure they have other numbers to use. A few minutes after doing this they called once again, first off started the same man that called, I yelled that they had just called and been told not to call again...all of a sudden another man comes on the phone and says this will never happen again and the confirmation number is #352. HAHA we'll see. Also getting calls from 0-000-0000 and 1-123-456-7891 no such thing, just another spoofed number.

Got a call from someone who said they were representing Visa AND Mastercard.
I said "Oh, really, for which bank?" To which he listed off a good few, but not one of the ones we use. I then said, "Why are you calling?" And he said " I see you've been making regular payments and because of this you qualify for 3.9% interest for life" (HAHAHAHHAAHA! Yeah right. We're doing fairly well as it is, but it isn't 3.9%, and certainly isn't for life). Thought it was pretty funny that the only qualifier was paying regularly.
Anyways, several things he said were red flags, and I then asked him for a contact number to call HIM back, He asked "Why would you want to do that ma'am?" And I said, "Oh, gee, I don't know, maybe because of SECURITY reasons?" So he gave me what I am sure is a fake number, haven't even tried to call it. The number that came up is 000 - 000 - 0000. So yeah, right, I'm sure you're legit.
Then I looked it up online and voila....there's all these other people getting the same call.
Hope they catch these scammers and lock em up.
Get a real job is right!

I have been receiving call from (905) 352-3813 nearly every day its very annoying I want it to stop.

Got three calls from this number this week and then a call from 1-(905) 327-7829 this morning (Sunday). It was a guy with an thick accent/broken English. He knew the family name in our household & claimed he was calling to offer us better interest rates than our VISA/Mastercard.I've tried to call both numbers back and the first one said the number wasn't in service. This one went to a "person not avail" w/no voicemail Option.

Call me to day at 8:30pm, my wife answered the phone but no one was talking at the other end. Calling back, i was told that this number was not in service
