I recieved an "urgent" phone call from this number and they did not mention what company was represented.  They said that I had to reply in 24 hrs and that this matter would not go away?????  What the heck?!?!?!

Same as above: Automated message (cut off at the beginning) "-of Canada. We are expecting a phone call in the next 24 hours. This is a very serious matter, it won't go away. Our number is - " (cut off again) Very suspicious. I think the cut off at the beginning is intentional on the part of the caller. I get this call 3-4 times a week. and it's annoying the hell out of me.

I'm from NB Canada.  I've been receiving recorded phone calls from 1-866 and 1-905 numbers for weeks now.  Just received a call w/ recorded message today saying "Its a very serious matter, it won't go away, call us back at 1-866-something (I didn't hear the rest of it because it stopped)"

They never say my name, the reason they're calling and/or the company they're working for.

***UPDATE***I did a search on this site for the variations of the number and I've found an entry stating that it might be CANADA STUDENT LOAN calling.  I checked with the Canada student loan and they said that the calls are not coming from them.***UPDATE***
