I had Bell call block but found it did not block calls that came from other phone companies - ie a number using Sprint or Vonage and Rogers service as well as others -only people/companies that called using Bell themselves  outside phone carriers did not work with Bell call block an calls coming from call centers that use modified extenstion numbers that cant be call returned to. This seems the case with larger companies as well that use charity lines with 1 number. My understanding it blocks the line but not the spefic number . Bell told me it didnt matter if I switched to another service this would happen when bell numbers callled the new service they wouldnt be blocked .

Same thing keeps happening to me. same number over and over every single day. Report this to CRTC as I did. Do not press number "("9) as they ask you to do to "supposedly be removed you from their list. They also use (905) 242-2478 and a series of others. Police will NOT help. Too many scams out there. These particulaur ones are coming offshore from India. They do not respaect the DNC (Do Not Call List)... Bottom line leep reporting. You can however press "1" and comply to extract information to get to the real source and THEN all of us will be able to "Identify" the real source.The proper phone number for CRTC IS 1-+1 866-580-3625. Didn't answer, answering machine picked up, they hung up without leaving message. Went to add the number to my *60 list - lo and behold, IT WAS ALREADY ON THE LIST! How is it possible that they can call me anyway?! Filing complaint with Bell Canada.
