Didn't answer, answering machine picked up, they hung up without leaving message. Went to add the number to my *60 list - lo and behold, IT WAS ALREADY ON THE LIST! How is it possible that they can call me anyway?! Filing complaint with Bell Canada.

Credit card/interest rate recording. ?Phishing scam.

The continue to call me.  Last time I dealt with a similar company, I told them that I had over $30,000.00 in credit card debt.  Asked if they worked with American Express as well as Visa and Mastercard.  I asked them to hold on while I looked for my credit card bill.  Went and cooked dinner.  Came back to the phone a couple of times and told them I was still looking and was very interested because my interest rate was very high.  Told them I was not at my limit yet on any of my cards....if you are, they hang up immediately...learned that!  They need room on your credit card.
Have kept them on the phone for an hour before it came down to them wanting my credit card numbers.  This is the point at which I explain that if they keep me on their list, I will continue to waste their time.  One time, the guy got so angry that he started to call me back and call me names and threaten me.  I called the police at this point....threats are  illegal no matter where you are...this 'company' was in Florida.  They finally stopped until recently.
They have called me twice in the past week and when I said I wanted innformation about their company, they hung up on me.  I will now go back to just keeping them on the phone as long as possible.  As long as they are waiting for me to find my credit card bills, they are not scamming someone else.
I suggest if we all do this, it will really put a damper on their income.
It's kind of fun to see how long you can keep them on the line....I keep a record and when it is time to tell them, I quote my best records.
