this number called me many times, i have since figured out that this is a calling card company and someone using a calling card is trying to call you.take it for what its worth, i am 100 percent positive of what i've to say.

This is just the local number for Skype or VOIPBUSTER service.
So someone just tried to call you from the internet and the connexion wasn't that good. So the puzzle is busted.

That # called my home to inquire about a poster I had put up the day before about a missing siamese cat. A female voice said, " I'll check on that detail and call you back." No one called back and we can't call that # It just rings twice and then sounds the busy signal. One option with the phone is to limit incoming calls to a pre approved list and if you are not on that list you cannot call. The two rings would be to allow the phone to recognize the phone number of the caller.

All of these companies have been closed for over 2 years we don't do any automated calling stop posting my information saying I am doing this. It is like me just taking your name and posting it all over the internet saying that it is you doing this.

Yeah, I get the same call...no sound, just static.  Just reported to the Telco for abuse.

If you stop creating new companies to make these calls, maybe people will stop pointing out that you're a lying scumbag.
