Called me at 2:36 PM Atlantic (Canadian) time on January 4, 2008. Claimed to be part of some organization that sends out Neilsen-style booklets for people to record their radio listening habits, in order to help determine radio ratings.

said something about long distance... very poor english. I told the womman on the line that my number was unlisted and that I was concerned how they got it ... dead silence after that. I waited on the line until they hung up. I also tried to call back and got a busy signal. I've blocked this call; we'll see how sucessful that is. Now, I'm with eastlink phone and my parents are with Aliant - they never have this issue. Is there something wrong with eastlink???

called me today. didn't pick up. have had them call me more than once

They didn't leave a voice mail and it rings busy when I try to call back.I use my phone for business and hate this type of call.

since i switched to aliant from eastlink i started getting these calls, i never answer a number i don't know but when my machine picks up the people on the other end just keep saying hello hello . where do they get my number when it's unlisted?!?!?!
