I been getting the calls! As well I don't answer! I block them! But some how they Get by it! Cogeco Says they will rectify it !But; Don't! Same problem with other server's! The Halifax police will not act!
The problem they place a note on your credit files with the credit reporting companies!
U called transunion and the other similar organizations! ! Costing me $29.00 dollars ;or to a similar amount. And The results is that they are a legal collection Company! But they Phish,(a on line slang; for fishing!); Buy old debt; turning it into new debt! And hazel you to pay it! re-guard less if you have paid or settled! With the original debtor! When you apply for credit or open bank accounts! Your name will come up on their tracers! You are pretty much saddled with for life! Just don't answer the phone if you don't recognize the number! The damage is Your credit scores will forever be damaged by them! They are a scam/Collector! Out of Nova Scotia Halifax

Even though I've had this number on my "blocked" list for months, every morning at 8 am they "call".  They're lucky they are in NS, because if they were local, I'd go to their office in person, and punch some idiots lights out!

NO. It is a lenders responsibility to determine if the person applying is responsible candidate. A college student with several maxed credit cards and several store credit cards gets another offer without  enough income to support then it is the lenders fault. They are the ones who should have looked into the financial situation (ie: income, debt ratio, credit history, beacon score) and NOT approved it in the first place. There is a reason for all of these methods of checking someones credit, and when the lender fails to do so the responsibility lies solely on them. So f*** you buddy

I have been getting same 1-(902) 442-8588 calls for awhile...asked them to take my number off their calling list....I do have an outstanding account...but it`s like 10 ys ..old...I have inquired...and I am no longer responsible for this account...So they will never be able to collect from me.So..STOP..harrasing me....The CRTC...advise me not to answer....it`s annoying...a lady said she would continu calling ...and I will continu hanging up the phone..hahaha

Been getting the same calls from (902) 442-8588 Nova Scotia PEI at about 8:00 a.m.  Usually I am not home yet it shows on the call display for either the fax or home phone.  Picked it up once when home, and a recorded message in a strong male voice came on saying "Jane Sunshine Doe this is an important message ..." Since my name is not "Blankety Blank" I hung up the phone.  Don't know who yet I do know now that it has been calling an unlisted fax number, go figure.....
