I been getting the calls! As well I don't answer! I block them! But some how they Get by it! Cogeco Says they will rectify it !But; Don't! Same problem with other server's! The Halifax police will not act!
The problem they place a note on your credit files with the credit reporting companies!
U called transunion and the other similar organizations! ! Costing me $29.00 dollars ;or to a similar amount. And The results is that they are a legal collection Company! But they Phish,(a on line slang; for fishing!); Buy old debt; turning it into new debt! And hazel you to pay it! re-guard less if you have paid or settled! With the original debtor! When you apply for credit or open bank accounts! Your name will come up on their tracers! You are pretty much saddled with for life! Just don't answer the phone if you don't recognize the number! The damage is Your credit scores will forever be damaged by them! They are a scam/Collector! Out of Nova Scotia Halifax

I have been getting same 1-(902) 442-8588 calls for awhile...asked them to take my number off their calling list....I do have an outstanding account...but it`s like 10 ys ..old...I have inquired...and I am no longer responsible for this account...So they will never be able to collect from me.So..STOP..harrasing me....The CRTC...advise me not to answer....it`s annoying...a lady said she would continu calling ...and I will continu hanging up the phone..hahaha

You may be correct in that it is a collection agency, but you do not know, that any of these people have debts. The rats that work for these companies are desperate lying scumbags with no marketable skills. The only way they make any money is by scrounging around looking for other rats that have old debts, you know how they say it takes one to know one, or hire a thief to catch a thief. They chase any lead they find, harassing anyone who picks up the phone, making ridiculous threats, and claims that are just out-rite lies. You do not know any of these people who have posted here, so you really should watch your [***]' mouth "Yo Yo", and the clowns working for this Crack head Resource Service should be very careful about who they threaten and how. There are people out there with considerably more reliable resources who don't take lightly to having their loved ones harassed. My neighbor?s mother had been called dozens of times the [***] on the phone, (a chain smoking ex street hooker, with a weekend coke habit), told her over and over "she knew who she was and that she could not hide, I have a rule I work by, ANYONE CAN BE FOUND she threatened over and over!" this is an 80 year old woman. I was visiting and she got a call, I took the phone and told the [***] she really ought to go and hide herself, after being so rude and disrespectful to a mother of 8, and grandmother to 12, she just might become the exception to her own rule![***]' "YO YO"???Isn't that some kinda jerky toy on the end of a string?

these ppl are bogus they go after wrong ppl, old forgiven and written off debts,  as well as non existent debts..they are unethical and pirhannas IMO so maybe you are one of them?????? why would you make such a comment when many of the posters here have stated that they are being harassed WITHOUT OWING ANY DEBTS TO CRS!

Be extremely careful with calls from this number  or their toll-free number 1-+1 877-881-8088 as one of the things this outfit does is buy up for a few cents on the dollar old (alleged) debt which is long past any statue of limitations and try to coerce or trick people into acknowledging the debt to make it still current and therefore potentially collectible. Then the bullying tactics rally will start!Approximately 25 years ago a credit card was issued in my name but not at my request. Back then it was a nightmare and my lawyer challenged this with them and the matter was apparently resolved. I have heard nothing about since my layer contacted them over 20 years ago!Now it seems that a collection outfit, CRS has bought this file and is harassing me by phone and mail to collect the original principal under $2,000.I am refusing all their trick calls, and they use many numbers.Whatever you do, do NOT ever answer them as you may accidentally reopen a totally uncollectible alleged debt and make it current.

I Have been getting calls from this number for over 2 years, whenever I bother to answer the phone, whoever is on the other end just hangs up, when I don't answer the phone they leave a voicemail for someone who is not me.Why do the bother calling if they don't actually want to speak to me?  Do they honestly think I am stupid enough to call their number back and give them all of my personal information?  Not likely.
