It takes like than 30 seconds to pick up the phone and say you're not interested. Are you really that busy?And if you are, you shouldn't be answering the phone anyway.Chill out. These people are just trying to make a living. It's not easy doing what they do, and you don't make it any easier.

HMMM I was interested to find this thread on MacInnis Marketing. The company is a joke. They are obsessive over selling their little newspapers, most of them small towns in Ontario in butt F*** nowhere that have small community newspapers you wouldn't want your cat to take a [***] on.  Very few people want them even for the price of $3/week.The company does not like you to ask questions, they don't use computers, or headsets so I ended up with a pinched nerve in my hand from repeatedly having to dial the old fashioned way. Thats right folks they don't even have an automated dialer.I went there to make a little extra money; what I got was to work with a bunch of yahoo's who wear ball hats to work and talk about where they are getting their next cheap beer. One guy even refers to himself as 'Pimp Daddy'. And believe me he was nothing to look at.When not obsessing over their group lottery tickets, they can be found out back having a puff on the old herbal cigarette. The office is filthy. I looked at the same dirty floor for months, that never even saw a mop never mind a buffing.And yes folks they have an ex-employee who is up on charges of murder. Vincent? And then there's the issue of getting paid. Let's just say the old routine of 'checks in the mail' applies to MacInnis Marketing. In short I didn't get paid. I got ignored for two weeks over the issue and don't expect to ever see a cheque.As for the National Do Not Call List, newspapers and charities are exempt, but if you don't want to be called you are suppose to be put on MacInnis marketing's do not call list.Don't work here folks, The bonus structure is just about unobtainable due to the fact that so many people read the paper online. If you want to be exposed to some real characters (think Hi I'm Larry, this is my brother Darrell, this is my other brother Darrell) then this office is a real anthropological gem.  I'm fairly sure one fella was Darwins missing link and let us not forget the above mentioned Pimp Daddy!And let us not forget.......I did not get PAID. As a final note, the Chronicle herald no longer hires these clowns to sell papers. They call Ontario only for such literary gems as the North Bay Nugget (eye role) and work solely for Sun Media. Unless Sun Media comes to their senses, but then what would happen to Pimp Daddy?They do randomly call households in nova scotia over flyer delivery. I mean really?
