8881113333 - With respect to Mr Shaun Mills, I to just received a call upon my private number  (12-Aug-2009 @ 18:31. the caller refused to identify himself, insisted that I state my name and number, I of cause said no, I said to him "if you have my number which is private then you tell me who i am!"

The Caller refused .. and used a most impolite & unethical language, I suggest to others that receive these kind of calls where possible to record them (and make a complaint to OFCOM) and refuse to state you name until they come clean about who they are and what they actually want.

It seems to me that debt collection agencies now have become over aggressive and very unprofessional. Everyone has money issues sometime in their lives and most do actually try to repay within a sensible period of time. My advice is this always try and talk to those that you owe money to, they will help you with a better repayment option, and/or take further information from the Citizen Advice Bureau (your local Thompson or Yellow Pages has their number) in the end your reputation should still be worth something.

i just got a call from this number today asking my name which i give then he went onto say that you recentley applied for a payday loan of £100 in which i said yes and luckily the phone cut off and as yet no call back and i hope i dont get a call back after reading everyones comments

I have been getting calls over the past few days now from this number, as Maddison mentioned is was a company called Global Finance Company, I applied for several small payday loans over the internet and did not take this call as suspicious thinking it was a loan company. I fell into the trap of giving all my details, they advised me to send a £60 payment via westwern union for the intrest payment, the day after they called me back asking me that due to me sending the payment of £60 after 7:30pm Id get this refunded with my loan amount and to send it through again. Being the desperate fool I am I ended up doing this beleiving in their words, now, after reading up on the Western Union website I have been advised this is a scam, I have fell into a trap wasting £120 of money which I did not have in thinking Id be getting this as a small loan. I now feel like such a fool, very upset at all this, I have spoken to the Police and Trading Standards, but I dont think there will be anyway of getting my money back. Please, if you receive any calls from this number, or someone from India hang up

I received a call from this company on Saturday 12 September on my home number, and today 16 September on my mobile. The chap on the phone said it was regarding a loan. I asked for the company name and he refused until I had answered his questions. I refused and he just continued asking questions. In the end I hanged up. It is deplorable that a company who calls refuses to divulge answers of who they are. Stay well away if this number calls you

A person from this number called me on my mobile/cell phone number last saturday (8/9/09) and said they were from a 'debt management' company,when i asked them where they got my number from as i hadn't registered it with anyone they were evasive and wouldn't say! I repeatedly ask where they got my number from and he said there had their sources too which i replied that i was very unhappy with this fact and to please go away and hung up.... immediately he called back and carried on so i just said no and hung up.... again he rang back again so this time i said 'look i'm not interested,leave me alone and stop calling my private number' to which he then said 'f*** you!',i couldn't believe i had just heard this so i said 'pardon....did you just swear at me?' and he then just waffled on so again said 'did you just swear at me and can you now tell me the name of your company please so i can report you for obscene phone calls!' he then said a couple of other things which i couldn't really hear or make out and hung up!I think it is absolutely disgusting that someone can get hold of a persons private mobile number and hassle them then when not getting the response they want get verbally abusive,this person and the company should be reported and stopped from doing business!!!
