See reference to 323-429-7525.  This is the same company which operates under a couple names - the one they used when I asked was MCSI (Mutual Consulidation Services Inc.)They've got great rebuttals.  Automated messages uses vague terminology to describe your "debt" - so when I spoke to an agent I asked, which of my credit cards they would reduce for me.  The agent promptly with a canned response "for your security, your phone number is not passed to us from the dialer so I don't have that information available at the moment - can I get your name?"Obviously I asked to be removed from their list.  I got a chuckle from the next question - "Is <my phone number> the only phone number that I need 'removed' from their list?"  (I thought that wasn't passed to them?)Next was even better, "Could you pass me to anyone else that could use our help???"Sounds like a 2-stage phishing scam - if they can't get your credit card number, then get as validate as many phone numbers as possible and sell to the next scam/use under their next scam.I expect another call tomorrow.  hmmm.  Too bad this isn't illegal. :p

This number has called my cell phone for the past few months which I don't answer as I don't feel like wasting my minutes on unwanted calls.

I pressed 1.Asked to be taken off their list.The guy confirmed my number and said thankyou.

Please file a complaint with the Canadian National Do-Not-Call List

I got this call and I didn't know what to do. I thought they were ligit so I gave them my info, what's the worst that can happen?

I just got called too...I AM a telemarketer, but at least for a legit company-Everything I've read about this number on a couple of sites, these guys are pure scam.
