We've been getting near-weekly calls from them for the past couple of years. It's gotten to the point that I talk over the person saying we're not interested in their calls and hang up immediately. Had tried in the past to get us removed from their calling list, without success.

I kept getting this call. The next time she called and said she was from "Province of Alberta, Business Development Office," I asked for a contact number. This is the number she gave 1-+1 800-639-1700 ext. 118. Call it and it is a business with the name "Callfinders". Something is not right! I am not sure what it is but there is something they are fishing for. Avoid.

We get these calls at our small business every week it seems like. I asked a lot of questions to the guy today, he seemed to freeze up.

Our office receives numerous calls from this number always claiming to be calling from the "Alberta Business Development Office" and wanting to know if we've relocated. When I say to take us off of their list to speak with a manager, they hang up on me before I even finish the sentence.

We as well get these annoying calls.  Just had one in fact.  Told her we weren't moving and asked to take our number off this list, she said flat out no and hung up on me!  Time to play as she doesn't want to listen, whistle and tourettes are on hand....

I normally say "no we're not planning to move" but today I started to say someone had just called last week" and they hung up on me!!!  Wonder what this scam is about?
