Just got a call from this # on my iPhone. It was a recorded message for some sort of "Debt Consolidation". It promted me to press 2 if on DNC list. Doing so terminated the call.My iPhone displays the phone number (867) 988-2576 below it reads "Yukon, NW Terr, Nunavut" - sounds like someplace in Canada...

ditto. there is an old sci-fi book (or story) about all the computers in the world linking up without the knowledge of humans, and when the last link is achieved, it becomes sentient--and its "birth cry" is all the phones in the world ringing simultanously. hmmmmmm.
