I received a call from someone with a heavy accent who claimed that my computer had something "very wrong" with it and its motherboard.  How did she know that?  Well, she claims to work for Microsoft, and they knew my computer's IP Address and associated it with my phone number, therefore, knowing how to get ahold of me to inform me that there was something "terribly wrong" with my computer and that a virus is about to enter into this computer that I am typing on right at this moment.  She wanted me to turn on my computer at the moment she called, but I said that I was driving and nowhere near my computer.  She asked if she could call again later and I said "okay", giving me a little time to investigate HER phone number.  I do believe that if I were to give her more than the IP Address that they already possibly have, that my computer would DEFINITELY be damaged with multiple viruses.  They are definitely a scam, so do not believe, for one second, that they are from Microsoft as they claim to be.

I recieved a call from this number this afternoon. They claimed to be calling from Microsoft Support in regards to my "PC laptop" having an issue with windows. I went along with the woman for a little bit because I could tell it was a scam, and I own nothig but Macs. When I finally said "You know the only computers in my house are Macs" she hung up. Don't give them any info, and mess with them if you can :)

I got a call from this and actually gave them debit card number like a dummy!  I have been really busy lately and this call was about a $1 charge for upgrading my eBay account.  I immediately got online and put a hold on my card after he said he was from eBay and would be giving me my username and password for the upgraded store account. He ended the call and never gave me log in information.  So I put the hold on my card almost as soon as the call ended.  I NEVER GIVE OUT MY INFO...but did today, I feel stupid but at least I can tell other people it is scammers calling from this number and they only got me for $1..

Someone called me that was using an automatically dialer (I could tell because of the delay when I answered until he responded).  He knew at least my first name and told me he was calling me from Technical Support for Microsoft Windows.   I responded:  "I don't understand" and he hung up.  I've never contacted Tech Support for Microsoft.  He's a scammer.  

I am having same issue , will block it.

I got a call today from a male with a heavy accent (I think he was phonetically reading an English script) who said he was from Windows.  When I heard that, I hung up.  He's called before and each time I hang up.  I won't give any personal information to a stranger who calls asking for it.  I don't care how legitimate it sounds!
