TOTAL SCAM.. CALLED STATED MY COMPUTER HAS VIRUS AND WAS AFFECTING THEIR COMPUTER..  I TOLD CALLER I WAS SORRY AND IF HE WOULD PLEASE GIVE ME THE I.P. ADDRESS OF MY COMPUTER I COULD CHECK IT.  HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT AN I.P. ADDRESS WAS, AND TRIED TO GET INFORMATION FROM ME SOCIAL SECURITY #'S ETC.  CALLER HAD TERRIBLE ACCENT COULD BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH.

I got the same guy twice today had verizon block number and they said to notify local police

Had similar experience; female with indian accent suggested my computer has been sending error messages and that internet viruses had infected my computer and could activate at anytime.  I advised I had antivirus, spyware and malware protection on all my computers apparently didn't phase her.  She actually asked me to turn on my computer and I informed her I was not near it at the moment.  She then made some comment that if I wasn't concerned at which point I hung up on her a**.

Just got a call from them. I knew it was a scam so I played with them. They talked about Windows and virus,malware,etc... They wanted to connect to my computer remotely. I told them I did not have a windows system. They wanted to know what OS(operation system) I had and I told them Unix. Unix has no know virus or malware. They asked me what kind and I made up a name called GooFoo Wizard. It took everything in me to keep from laughing out loud. She said that wasn't an OS and I said it was and that it was an open source OS. She hung up on me. LOLOn a side note: I've been in computers for many years now from the 80's. And could spot the scam right away. However, these PC scammers are getting really aggressive calling somebody's home phone. In short, if it sounds weird or to good to be true then DON'T DO IT!!. Hang up on them. I reported this call by the way to the "do not call" website.

I don't have caller ID however I CALLD my phone company and they found this number for me. They called my twice, once at July 9th at 10:55pm and on July 10th at 3:26am. That's to late and early to be calling. Dumb solicitors!
