Did u actually have magazines? Because I actually do lots of them. I never signed up for them and got a call today saying exact same thing. Hopefully I don't get screwed!

I've been getting calls from this number that shows  up as 8001111111 and ive never answered until today .  He knew my name and asked me for my birthdate to "verify my account"  I didn't think and gave it to him. As soon as I did I knew it was a mistake !!  He asked if i m happily married  or happily singleand I told him happily married. He asked if i "still working" and I told him I don't work. So he asked if my husband does. I told him yes and he said that they need to know what he does but not who he works for. I told him that i m not allowed to give out that information and he said "what! Does he work for the CIA or something?!" Then he kept telling my why they needed that info and I just hung up. I'm very worried that I gave out my birthdate!!

they sent me a letter in the mail .. they like to call the company manatee entertainment resources .. I looked up the address its a construction company in fort myers Florida .. total scam . I changed my cards just to be sure .. cause they knew the type I had .. the return number might be +1 800-648-9657.. if it even works ..

Been getting calls from this number for the last week. I finally answered it. They wanted to renew my subscriptions. I have no magazine subscriptions. I asked him for what magazines? He named off Men's Journal, Field and Stream, and Maxim. I had a field and stream subscription about 10 years ago and have never had any other magazine subscriptions.He wanted my credit card information to cancel my account saying that it was going to be Auto Renewed tonight at midnight. He wanted my CC info to cancel. I told him he didn't need my CC info to cancel. He wanted my birthdate and I would not give that to him. He also said that he needed the information just to be able to speak to a supervisor or to the billing department. I told him that I would not give him that information. I asked him for his companies name and phone number so I could call them back. He gave me the name "Reader Supplies" at 1-800-READERS (1-+1 800-732-3377). I have been calling that number back for the last 30 minutes and it is constantly busy. The Better Business Bureaus has them listed as NOT BBB Accredited with the following address:Reading Supplies Inc. 421 West Benson StreetCincinnati, OH 45215Going to check the history on all my CC's to see if any charges where made for $79.99 in the last 18 months.

This number has been calling me to. But they accidentally didn't hang up the phone. I got a recording of a woman and man talking. He says to someone" go put this in the truck". Then I hear her talking saying" works for union company........" Couldn't make everything out. Sound like they are at home. I'm going answer next time. Tell them off. Thanks spokeo and commenters.
