We've had four calls over the past two days from this number and despite being told we've never had PPI they persist in calling.  I told them today I wasn't interested but they've phoned again - pity we never got to the phone in time!!I think I shall start being less than polite if they persist.

Got a call from this number last night on my mobile.  It was a female voice but oh my, very poor English asking for a Mrs Parker.  when she was told that she had the wrong number, she went off on this trirade, all I could make out was something about PPI.  

I terminated the call after telling her that no-one by the name of Parker and I wasnt interested in what she was selling

They get your number usually through you innocently filling in an on line form for say a competition or enquiring about car/house insurance, your number is then sold to these companies.

Received around 20 phonecalls over a 2 week period, as soon as I say I dont want to do the survey and ask to be removed from the database thy hang up. I contacted my service provider and they recommended joining caller prefernce which I did 8 months ago. They said it was an increasing problem. She did suggest if you have android that calls from certain numbers can be blocked. This is under auto reject in the call settings menu under all calls. This hopefully seems to have dont the trick.

This lot called.  I didn't speak, they didn't speak, they hung up.  I figure that they're paying for the call and not phoning somebody else while I just get on with my work.
Have a sneaking feeling that they got my number from Aviva who I (foolishly) got a quote from last week.  Next time I'll enter 0000000000 as my phone number.
