I have received these same texts with the symbols. ?It also say "com.vzwdmserver" below the symbols.  I have checked with Verizon, they say this is not coming from them.  I have responded asking to "cancel" and "stop sending me these texts" and so far that hasn't worked.

I have gotten like 5 of these messages as well. I just hope somehow they aren't messing up my phone or costing me something. I think this is ridiculous. Getting these messages at 3:30 in the morning, middle of the afternoon etc...this needs to get stopped.

I have been getting text messages with symbols and it says URGENT and  scom.vzwdmserver. This is not from Verzion. How can I get the text messages to stop? The messages will come any time day or night.

Get text messages from this number can't block it and the message is nothing but symbols.

I think it is coming from Verizon.  I signed up for their spam blocking and when I got a text from verizon with my password, the text came from 900080004000 which is similar in format to the spam sender.
