Called me to offer free AirMiles. It was a robotic voice and I had to press 1 to accept. Foolishly I did and the call disconnected.. Does pressing 1 do anything?

Robocaller left message: You have been chosen to receive two thousand six hundred free rewards points. Press 1<cut off>It's a sleezy telemarketing scam.

A telemarketer, I'm guessing. Annoying.

Other than unofficially letting them know you might be gullible, no. :) Pressing 1 likely just confirms your number and they'll call back, possibly with a real person to try to scam you.

my boss answered it, it was a recording so he hung up.

You don't need to answer this call.
