i get calls from this number and there is no one there when i answer. VERY ANNOYING. wish i could block them from calling.

Lever market research- they call multiple times a day and it is irritating!

They called and said they were doing a survey on the Alberta Energy Regulators. The survey is stacked to run down the system and give Alberta a bad name. When asked who is paying for this survey they hung up. Probably some enviro group from the USA.

Recd call from this # today mar/24. Lady said she was from Alberta liquor and gaming commission and wanted to do a survey. I told her I was not interested.

I got a call from 'elections Canada' wanting to verify my address....which of course I verified.....after hanging up....tried to call them back....why the hell are they calling...I've been voting for years...is this a scam??

Just receive the call too - answered because I'm expecting calls from the 780 area code, but hung up as soon as I heard "The Silence" as I call it. "The Silence" always means it's one of these types of automated calls. Unfortunately the very act of answering probably registered the number as good so I'll have to put up with more calls from these idiots. And the Do Not Call registry is useless because odds are the number is spoofed anyway and probably originates in Pakistan or some such place.

I am from Edmonton & received this call as well this am, this is the web address for the company that keeps calling all of you: www.legermarketing.com they have local offices all over Canada & figure its ok to ignore the DO NOT CALL LIST as they have earned the right to be stupid!!!! Below is the number you can call in Edmonton and inform them to seize calling immediately or you will take action upon them to include the Better Business Bureau. I told them my cell number has been on the DNCL for 20 years who gave them the right to ignore that???? They call and said they were with Consumer Choice, the poorly english spoken individual becam upset when I simply said I was not interested and said "you er a futckin bi****r", this is not a typo that is how he pronounced his enlgish words, with strong East or south Indian telemarketer does.

Received a number of calls from this caller but never bothered to answer, until today, a Sunday, at around noon.  Said he was calling on behalf of the City of Edmonton regarding a survey about garbage pickup and recycling services.  Asked if we lived in a house or an apartment and when I told him I live in a house he kindly stated that the survey was targeting people who specifically live in apartments and thanked me for my time.  He did not mention the survey company he was representing, only that the call was on behalf of the City of Edmonton.  For all previous calls that we received and did not answer they did not leave a message so I assume it is an automated call.Very strange.

This number has called me a number of times. It turned out to be EPCORE following up on a wateraon break in the area. The lady says she doesn't know why their system hangs up. Apparently the system is calling people who have contacted EPCORE in the past 30 days for follow ups.
