i get calls from this number and there is no one there when i answer. VERY ANNOYING. wish i could block them from calling.

Lever market research- they call multiple times a day and it is irritating!

They called and said they were doing a survey on the Alberta Energy Regulators. The survey is stacked to run down the system and give Alberta a bad name. When asked who is paying for this survey they hung up. Probably some enviro group from the USA.

Recd call from this # today mar/24. Lady said she was from Alberta liquor and gaming commission and wanted to do a survey. I told her I was not interested.

This number calls repeatedly... it is not marketing, they said they were SUPPOSEDLY FROM OUR BANK BUT IT IS A LIE!  DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! They just want your money...fraud and stealers

Called me yesterday twice and i called them back but no answer it's say call busy, Also called me today 04/november/2011 but same thing i pick up the phone but no answer and hang up , I called them back its say call busy again... I learn my lesson just dont pick up the strange number if some one realy need you he or she will leave the message and reason for calling...

THANKS FOR THE GOOD ADVICE...I JUST CALLED THAT NUMBER AND I TOLD THEM POLITELY BUR FIRMLY THAT I KNEW THAT THE (514) 982-9805 WAS A NUMBER FROM THEIR COMPANY AND I DIDN'T WANT TO BE ANNOYED ANYMORE, SO TO PLEASE TAKE MY NAME OFF THEIR CALLING LIST....THE MAN WAS VERY POLITE AND TOOK DOWN MY PHONE NUMBER TO ERASE IT FROM THEIR FILES.SALUT! MERCI POUR LE CONSEIL J'AI APPELÉ ET LEUR AI DIT POLIMENT MAIS FERMEMENT QUE JE SAVAIS QUE LE NUMÉRO 514-982-9805 ÉTAIT UN NUMÉRO DANS LEUR ENTREPRISE ET QUE JE NE VOULAIS PLUS QU'ON M'EMBÊTE, DONC, D'ENLEVER MON NUMÉRO DE LEUR LISTE D'APPEL TÉLÉMARKETING OU SONDAGE...L'HOMME A ÉTÉ TRÈS POLI ET A PRIS MON NUMÉRO POUR L'ENLEVER DE LEUR LISTE..

Same thing here... no one on the other end (right away).... so I hung up.... I have an older model  Tele-Bouncer (mid 90"s).It works by new caller ID's... lets the phones ring twice, then goes to answering m/c... then I can set it to reject that # any time it calls again (doesn't ring phones, just picks up the line and hangs up automatically)... or I can set it to accept which causes it to pass through to the phones. Even with this nifty unit, I'm still am getting really annoyed by how many first time callers there are... seems like I'm setting the m/c to reject daily. And now I'm getting them on my cell phone! So much for being on the governments "do not call list"!!! I wish the government would PERSONALLY fine the OWNERS of these companies!!!

It's certain that with all the money the Gov collects from all of us hard working souls that some could be used to put a stop to the scam s***! Blow a fog horn into the telephone, hopefully it breaks an ear drum or messes up the auto-caller...Sick and tired of this...used to be 888-855- numbers etc., and now it's an Alberta area code, who's is next? B.C. ? Saskatchewan? There was even one from China last week???
