Hi, my name is Larissa Warford and I am an information and referral coordinator with Volunteer wood Buffalo. We are currently populating a database called inform Alberta which will be used for 211 Alberta.

211 is an easy to remember 3 digit telephone number that, in one call, connects people to a full range of community, health, government and social services information.

211 is free, confidential, multilingual and available 24 hours a day. Phone calls are answered by a certified information and referral specialists who are carefully trained to asses complex needs and refer the caller to the appropriate services. We are targeting to launch later this year!

I am located in Fort McMurray however; I am responsible for contacting all the non-profit organizations and social services in the North Eastern Alberta region.

With that said I am looking for a list of non-profit or social services in your area along with their contact information. I am hoping that you can email me a list or help me find a contact that can help in in this area.
