Same problem they called twice at 1:09

Just got the a call from this number as well...and I do not live in Alberta! No message was left on voicemail and when I called it back it is not in service.

Whoever it is they are getting bolder. I was called on my cell phone from this number and my area code is not 780; it's 403. I didn't answer (I was away from the phone) and no message was left.

It is phishing, telemarketing number not attached to anyone company BUT should it be tracked back to a company.  Call them and complain, you let them know it is harassment & if they choose not to get to the bottom of these calls then you will pursue charges with the police (repeat calls in short period of time, no one there when you do answer, calls at times you are sleeping (4-6am or calling on sat/sun).I had this with a different number and it was amazing how quick those class stopped (the companies that hire calls centers get the message across quickly to not harass people under their name).The other thing is if it is a cell they are callin there are Apps out there like "blacklist" which allows you to put #'s in that you do not want to receive thus your phone will not ring when they call you.Also remember kindness (no vulgar language or violence) & calmness when dealing with companies as they more likely to help resolve this issue.  Firm/assertive not aggressive

Called at 2:07pm this afternoon claiming to be Air Miles, hung up shortly after recording started to play. Number showed on caller ID as 011 780 578 9898 (international formatting). Only the one call, but obviously a known faker given the volume of comments here.
