Got this call tonight. It was around 8 PM. No one spoke but a lot of noise in the backround

Keep receiving calls from this number...no one says anything!!!! Pretty stupid

Just got a call from this number after numerous previous calls that i had not answered. Caller sounded Indian but claimed his name was Shawn. He informed me that my email was infected and spamming their help email. When i questioned how the caller linked my home number to email he got defensive and told me my computer was infected. He couldn't even tell me what company he was working for or where these "emails" were being sent. When i told him i worked for a Microsoft Partner he hung up on me. This is totally a scam.

Received call. Caller ID Alberta 1-(780) 409-4786. 2:33 PMForeign accent. Says his name is Jason. Has info from my computer since I am a licensed Windows user. He had my name... or at least my last name.Said I didn't know who he was or why he was calling. He repeated, he is Jason!  He needs access to computer cause you can get virus from sites that you visit online. I repeated, didn't know who he was and as such I was hanging up.

call from Alberta, guy with strong accent said my computer had a problem, i know it does and told him so and hang up. obviously a scam.

Man with heavy accent said he was calling from IN but Caller ID said Alberta. Said name of company several times but I couldn't understand him. He insisted that my computer was sending him error messages and was going to crash; he needed me to go to my computer so he could walk me thru the repair steps. I told him to email it to me since he has all my info, and hung up. Does anyone really fall for this?

damn these people its because of them that we don't want to talk to Indians no matter how genuine they might sound>>>>>

Same here. An Indian man with a very heavy accent--named David Smith(haha)--said he was calling from the 'Computer Technology Dept' because there was s problem with my pc. My response: "really? Goodbye", and I hung up. Any way to report this so unsuspecting people aren't duped?
