this will be the last time this # will ring my phones.... I set my telemarketer bouncer to reject this # (just like all the rest I have set to reject)... that is to say... all future calls from this # will be picked up and hung-up immediately, without a single phone in the house ringing.... revenge of this type is so sweet it makes me feel like telling them bring on all the calls you want.... hehel!!!

Shaw lets you block the number no problem :) .  Government program telemarketer or scammer ... Either way can all go F*$K Themselves.  I will keep blocking them and if nothing is done I will get rid of my home phone all together.  Maybe if they start losing business the phone companies will force the police to do something about it :).  anyways just my 2 cents.

(780) 254-2398 is not the only number they call from.  Sometimes it shows up as a 403 number and sometimes "unavailable".  I have pressed #2 numerous times to be "removed", but they keep calling back anyway.  So I pressed #1 and a girl answered and said "Debt Solutions, how much debt do you have?"  When I said, "well actually I don't have any", she hung up...obvious SCAM.  But what to do about it?The phone company won't block the number because it changes, and you can't call the number because it doesn't connect.  The phone company suggested to CALL THE POLICE FOR A HARASSMENT COMPLAINT.  If we ALL do this, maybe someone will shut them down or charge them?

Pressing 2 (or any other number) to be removed only alerts them to the fact that you are home at that time. Expect more calls.

Sorry to bear bad news - these parasites are getting intolerable.

Got a call this morning (Mar.13/2012) at 924 am.  Recording  There is a new government program if you are $10,000 in debt or more they have specials interest rates press 1 to take it to your province and 9 to be taken off this list... SCAM......
