Got a call on Oct. 1st at 6 pm. Told me I won 2600 travel dollars and to press 1 for claim. I stayed on the line and got disconnected.

I'm on DNC list since last year. According to Canadian telemarketer rules this call is against the rules, regardless of whether you're on DNC list or not. They are not allowed to use pre-recorded messages like that, see here: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/nrt-ntr-eng#link04. yep, same number called me this afternoon; did not answer though. I'm actually from british columbia so i'm used to the 778 area codes, but this number came up all whack on my phone... i think it's a v.o.i.p line of some sort because usually when a 778 number comes up on my phone it comes up normally since i live in the area and have a 778 area code myself. I have had myself on the do-not-call list for a few months and have had no problems with any telemarketers until today. by the claims made by other posters regarding free vacations, my guess is that this company is making illegal calls since i'm not the only one who has recieved them while on the list, according to this forum. i'm finding out how to report this number..... i can't f***ing stand telemarkets, bunch of straight-up do***ebags. i always hate hearing them say "well i'm just doing my job, sir," because there's always the option of getting a job where you don't f***ing piss people off for a living. f*** 'em... -  end of rant. -

Got a call from this number on my cell, did not answer...and no voic mail left.

just got a call from this number.. it said that you have won 2600 to claim press 1...
i said f off and hanged up

just got a call, picked up... no one was there
