got a call from (778) 785-4596 telling me in a recorded message that I'd just won 2600 travel dollars and that I should push 1 to claim them. I hung up but checked for this message on the web and found that other callers have had this same call only from an Alberta source. ?I too have added my cell phone number to the Canadian Do Not Call list but they've obviously found a way to circumvent this.

I just got a call from that number on my cell phone which is very strange cause I never get calls on my cell phone..... so I didn't answer it. I didn't get a voicemail either though.

778 numbers are cellphone numbers here in BC Canada
the automatic voice message when i picked up the phone said i won $500 travel dollars and press 1 to get the money

Got it at 5:08 yesterday evening, wasn't around to answer the phone, maybe they'll just give up. Maybe if they phone the prime minister there will something done about this crap...

from what i heard the do not call list is for sale to anyone who has a business that calls people...i also recieved a call from this number but didnt answer it.
