I'm on Do Not Call list - I'm Ontario - "Unknown" came up and this number was on my mail, but no message left.

I got a call on June 23/10 at 4:31pm from (778) 785-4596. I didn't know the number so I didn't pick it up. I googled it and found this so I am reporting it.Right before that I also got a call on June. 23/10 at 4:50pm from +1 888-655-2607. I googled that as well and found similar junk.

got call on cellphone, was curious so i went to a payphone and called it back (in case it was someone for real - i am from BC). And got that travel dollars message AND i pressed one becuase it was from a payphone anyways.Then it told me to hold. and then after5 seconds it disconnected........

778 numbers are cellphone numbers here in BC Canada the automatic voice message when i picked up the phone said i won $500 travel dollars and press 1 to get the money

Got it at 5:08 yesterday evening, wasn't around to answer the phone, maybe they'll just give up. Maybe if they phone the prime minister there will something done about this crap...

yep, same number called me this afternoon; did not answer though. I'm actually from british columbia so i'm used to the 778 area codes, but this number came up all whack on my phone... i think it's a v.o.i.p line of some sort because usually when a 778 number comes up on my phone it comes up normally since i live in the area and have a 778 area code myself. I have had myself on the do-not-call list for a few months and have had no problems with any telemarketers until today. by the claims made by other posters regarding free vacations, my guess is that this company is making illegal calls since i'm not the only one who has recieved them while on the list, according to this forum. i'm finding out how to report this number..... i can't f****ng stand telemarkets, bunch of straight-up do***ebags. i always hate hearing them say "well i'm just doing my job, sir," because there's always the option of getting a job where you don't f****ng piss people off for a living. f*** 'em... - end of rant. -
