On Nov 27 @ 12:06 p.m., received a call from this number at work (land line), followed by a call on my cell phone the same day at 12:16 p.m. ?Did some research to find out that this number is a land line located in Vancouver, BC somewhere around Pacific ??  I did not answer the call and no voicemail was left.

I'm sorry everyone, but that infamous "Do Not Call List" is actually a big telemarketing scam and they just sold it to every ad company which is why if you notice the ones complaining the most are the ones who put their names on that list.

got a call from this number saying that i won some travel points if i press 1.definitely scammers.

Yes it is a BC number. If you answer the phone but don't say a word it will disconnect. The computer on the other side wait to hear a response before it starts it spiel.

Got a call on Oct. 1st at 6 pm. Told me I won 2600 travel dollars and to press 1 for claim. I stayed on the line and got disconnected.

I'm on DNC list since last year. According to Canadian telemarketer rules this call is against the rules, regardless of whether you're on DNC list or not. This just came up on my phone, no answer when i picked up.....very annoying
