REALLY!!!! The phone companies DO NOT give out your number. This is random dialling by criminals who use a cheap program to do it along with an automated (robo) dialler. And if the criminals have your name it is from a phone book (including on-line phone book). They aren't the brightest and often are semi-literate so easy for them to get your name wrong too. Conspiracy theories only exist in small minds.

Number just called my phone, it rang for half a second and stopped. No message left either. I am in central Alberta.

Called me March 15, 2014 @2.36 pm. Wasn't home to answer and don't have voicemail on this line. Probably a good thing.

How do u block it on land phone?? I've been called numerous times :(

They are now calling with this number for a 'survey'.  I didn't answer but they left a very long pre-recorded voicemail message.  I suspect that they are using VoIP from overseas due to the horrible call quality. I suspect that the 'survey' would become a telemarketing call pretty fast.

don't know any body with this number in B.C ,do not call this number back they will take charge of your phone and you will get a long distance bill telemarketer
