just received a call from that number. Did not know it so I did not answer. After reading all these comments, I put it on call block!

I'm glad i found this site because i thought maybe it was a friend calling, but not leaving a message. Thanks for the tip about the whistle.  I wonder how they get a CAD # (778), and yet they are calling from overseas?  Whoever the tel.company that gave them this number they should be contacted and harrassed back.  I thought of calling collect, but pretty sure that won't do anything. I might try to drag out the call the next time until they hang up, and they pay the for my time. Or, if it's Skype, we have no luck.Great Site to vent!

someone was trying to give me a free flat screen and other electronics sounded like a scam hung up on him.

Stop calling my office. I have your number. I can report your number to RCMP if you call again.

A man speaking a heavily accented English (East-Indian?) said he called about out security alarm system and then asked: "You do have one, do you?" I told him it was none of his business and never to call again.

Just got a call from this number....didn't pick up but now won't be surprised if they call back.  So much for the No Call List!
